ORDERING
Q. What size TV stand do I need?
A. It depends on the size of your TV. Measure across the screen diagonally from corner to corner in inches, then use our search facility to find TV stands that fit.
Q. What if the stand I like is too small?
A. It’s fine to order a TV stand that is slightly smaller than your TV, provided that your TV weighs less than the limit shown for the shelves. Of course, the TV will overhang slightly over the sides of the stand, but if you don’t mind that, there is no problem! The exception is cantilever stands where the TV is fixed to a bracket on the stand. In this case, it is important to buy the right size.
Q. Can TV stands be ordered fully assembled?
A. No. We supply them flat-packed to protect them in transit and reduce costs. Our TV stands are easy to assemble and full instructions are enclosed.
Q. How do I order online?
A. Once you have chosen your TV stand(s), click on “Add to Basket”. When you have finished shopping, click on “Proceed to Checkout”. You can then choose whether to buy as a Guest or to Register. If you register, we will store your information so you can access your order history, receive details of new products and offers, and order more quickly in future. Whichever option you choose, click on “Continue” and you will be guided through the easy payment process.
Q. How will I know my online order has gone through?
A. When you place your order, we will send you an email confirming the details. If there is any problem with your order, we will contact you by email or phone.
Q. Can I order by telephone?
A. Yes. It’s easy to buy online 24/7, but we are also happy to accept telephone orders. Please phone 0844 504 3160 on weekdays between 9.30am to 6.00pm.
PAYING
Q. Is it safe to buy online?
A. Yes. Your security and privacy is important to us. You can choose to pay via Sagepay or Paypal, industry leaders in secure electronic payments. We never see your card details or store any credit card or debit card information.
Q. Are my details shared with third parties?
A. No. We only share your details in order to fulfil your order. We don’t sell our mailing list to anyone else.
Q. Is the price shown on the website the price I will pay?
A. Yes. The price includes all taxes and delivery to mainland UK. There are no hidden costs or nasty surprises.
DELIVERY
Q. When will I receive my new TV stand?
A. We aim to deliver all orders within 24-48 hours, excluding weekends.
Q. Do I need to sign for delivery?
A. Yes. A signature is required as proof of delivery.
Q. Do I have to pay for delivery?
A. No. Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses. For delivery outside the UK mainland, please email us on info@glasstvstands.co.uk for a quote.
Q. Can you deliver to an address other than my home address?
A. Yes. When you place your order, there is an option to enter an alternative delivery address.
Q. Is it possible to deliver my order on a particular day?
A. In most cases, yes. When you receive your order acknowledgement email, please reply with the date you would like delivery. We will contact you to confirm the new date. We regret that we can’t currently offer delivery at weekends.
Q. What if I am not in when my stand arrives?
A. If you are not in, the courier will leave a card to say they have attempted delivery. This will include a telephone number you can call to arrange a new delivery date. If you do not contact the courier, they will attempt to deliver the following day.
Assembly
Q. Do your TV stands require assembly?
A. Yes. All our stands are easy to assemble, and clear instructions are included.
RETURNS
Q. What happens if the TV stand arrives damaged, faulty or has missing parts?
A. It rarely happens, but if there is any problem with your TV stand, please email us on info@glasstvstands.co.uk or call us on 0844 504 3160 within 48 hours of receipt. We will do everything we can to resolve the issue promptly, and promise to keep you informed what’s happening at all stages.
Q. What if I want to return the TV stand?
A. We hope you are happy with your TV stand. However, if you are not completely satisfied, we offer a 14-day money back guarantee. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. Before returning the TV stand, please email us on info@glasstvstands.co.uk. Stands must be returned in saleable condition in their original packaging. Customers are liable for the cost of delivery and return of unwanted goods.
